Answer these and we'll work out what we think you should have.
Tell us about your home
Do you own the property?
No problem. We'll need your landlord's permission before anything is fitted, so it's worth having a word with them.
What type of property is it?
How many roof sides would you like panels on?
Is your roof pitched, flat or both?
How do you power your home?
How do you fuel your vehicle?
How much do you pay on your electricity each month?
No problem. Two quick questions and we'll estimate it.
How many bedrooms?
How many people live there?
How would you like to pay?
A Solar Plan is our most popular option: one monthly payment that also covers servicing, maintenance and repairs. A loan gives you fixed monthly repayments instead.
Here is what we recommend – with a no upfront cost option available
This is our best estimate from what you've told us — your actual roof space, shading and electrics decide the final system.
How we worked it out: the Standard Variable Tariff from October 2026, 26.11p per kWh with a 54.83p daily standing charge, export payments of 12p per kWh, and roughly 950kWh a year from every kW of panels. Savings include roughly £10 a month for each extra 5kWh of battery, and an estimate of payments for letting your battery support the grid. Solar Plan figures are based on a 15-year plan, with Solar Plans available from 5 to 25 years. Loans are 0% APR interest free from 3 months to 5 years, or 10.9% APR representative over 10 years. 25-year savings assume energy prices rise 6% a year. All figures are illustrations only, finance and loans are subject to status, and your real figures come with your quote.

Right, how does solar actually work?
Short version: light goes in, electricity comes out. Here's the slightly longer version, minus the jargon.
Sunlight hits the panels
Each panel is a sheet of silicon cells. Light knocks electrons loose inside them and that flow is electricity. Cloudy days still work, just at a lower output.
The inverter swaps the type
Panels make DC power. Your house runs on AC. The inverter is the translator that converts one into the other.
Your home uses it first
Anything that's switched on, like the fridge, the kettle or the telly, takes the solar power before it pulls anything from the grid.
Spare power gets saved or sold
Extra power can charge a battery for the evening. Once that's full, it goes to the grid, and because we're MCS certified, you can earn money for it through the Smart Export Guarantee.
A day with your system
Press play or drag through the full 24 hours. Watch the sun cross from east to west, the moon follow it, and where every bit of power goes.
Drag through a day
Move the slider and watch where the power goes. Tick or untick the battery to see the difference.
Your system across a whole year
Summer makes far more than winter, so we size your system on the full twelve months. Here's what it could make each month, set against what you use.

Questions? Answered.
Do I have to pay upfront?
No. Every option we show is £0 upfront. You can choose a Solar Plan, with servicing, maintenance and repairs included, a loan with fixed monthly repayments, or buy outright if you'd rather own it with no borrowing at all.
Are you MCS registered?
Yes. WarmWise is MCS registered, which is also what allows you to be paid for exported power under the Smart Export Guarantee.
How accurate is the estimate?
It's a rough guide based on typical UK homes. We confirm your exact system and price after a survey of your roof and electrics.
Can I add a battery?
Yes. A battery stores spare daytime power for the evening. Answer a few questions in the estimate and we'll suggest a size for you, or pick one yourself in the quick price tool.
How do you price a business system?
Every site is different. We look at your electricity use, roof and layout, then send you a proposal.
Can we spread the cost?
Ask us about payment and finance options for your business when we get in touch.
